Fifteen-time Australian National Champion Peta Mullens will lead our women’s camp. An incredibly accomplished cyclist across multiple disciplines and former professional road cyclist, Peta will ride alongside participants, sharing expert coaching tips, training strategies and race-day insights.
SHANE KELLY | 11–14 FEBRUARY
Five-time Olympian, Olympic medallist and former World Champion Shane Kelly will lead our February camp. One of Australia’s leading cycling coaches, Shane will ride alongside the group, sharing insights into training, pacing and race preparation.
This will be a supportive, team based camp to get everyone feeling motivated and confident to achieve their goals on March 7.
Each morning will be a ride, with afternoons free to enjoy the gym and recovery facilities. Every evening a team dinner will be held with with a fireside chat unpacking race tips, strategies, and the next day’s ride briefing.
Along with our expert hosts you will have official Wave Leaders from the Peaks Challenge in attendance to make sure you can get all the infromation you need on how to make your big day a success!

Assuming you are signed up for Peaks Challenge, all different rider levels are welcomed. Rides will be 2-4 hours in duration each day, with options for extra / less distances for riders.
Firstly – your bike! Also any spare tubes / equipment you may need. We will have a bike tech on hand for the camp who will have emergency equipment ready to purchase, but your bike should come fully prepped and ready to roll.
Nelse will provide all food at the three major meal times, and will have snacks available for purchase, but please bring any specialist nutrition you may need.
Falls Creek is a four and half hour drive from Melbourne, 7 hour drive from Sydney, or a 100 minute drive from Albury Airport. Ample parking is available, and should you wish to get an airport transfer from Albury Airport we can do so at a cost of $130 each way.
Check in is at 2pm, with the camp officially commencing at 5pm. On the final morning there will be a ride, with lunch being served before checkout by 12pm.

This camp is only for those over 18. Please stay tuned for upcoming camps aimed at those under the age of 18.
There will be three rides, one each morning – including the final morning. Afternoons will present an opportunity to use the gym and recovery facilities, while each night there will be a team dinner and fireside information session. for A full schedule will be provided to participants a few weeks out from the camp.
Nelse is set up with many common areas and private areas should you wish to to do study or work in between sessions – with hi speed WiFi. There is also a pickleball and basketball court on-site, plus of course incredibly beautiful places to explore in and around Falls Creek.
Yes, you can, and we will place you with another person who has booked twin share. If you have a friend / partner you plan to share a room with, please let us know there name so we can pair you accordingly.
A 50%, non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. The balance is payable 30 days prior to your stay. In the case of unforeseen injuries preventing attendance, future credit can be granted upon a supplied doctors certificate. Full T&Cs are available here.

Off premises risks include steep or dangerous terrain, weather, wildlife, road users, and conditions that may arise in a remote environment.
I recognise that such activities require physical exertion and use of equipment which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
I am also aware that released parties are absolved from all liability howsoever arising from injury or damage including to property, howsoever caused (whether fatal or otherwise) arising out of participation in the Nelse Lodge camp, or sporting, fitness and recreational activities offered by Nelse Lodge Pty Ltd, or in any way whatsoever due to any negligent act, breach of duty, default and/or omission on the part of released parties.
I DO HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE that of my own free will and desire I voluntarily agree to assume the risk or any injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity that I may sustain as a result of being a participant in the activities connected with or associated with my involvement with the Nelse Lodge Camp and that I have read and understood the warning above.
By enrolling I authorize Nelse Lodge staff and contractors to obtain such medical assistance as they deem necessary and I agree to meet these expenses. I understand that Nelse Lodge relies on the accuracy of my disclosures, and I accept risks arising from failure to disclose. I forever discharge and release all parties from any and all claims for injuries, damages, or loss that my accrue to me arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with these activities.
Nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude, restrict or modify any guarantee, right or remedy that the Participant may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. To the extent permitted by law, the Participant agrees that the liability of the Released Parties for any failure to comply with a guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to the supply of recreational services is limited, at the option of the Released Parties, to: (a) the supply of the services again; or (b) the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
